FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: systems and methods enable to obtain cell data in a wireless communication system in frequency-division multiple access (FDMA) operating mode. Code sequences transmitted over a primary synchronisation channel (P-SCH) enable to detect symbol boundaries, cyclic prefix duration and designate broadcast channel bandwidth. Sequences transmitted over a secondary synchronisation channel (S-SCH) enable to detect radio frame boundaries, cell identification and designate broadcast channel bandwidth. Cell identification can be transmitted jointly between P-SCH and S-SCH codes. Broadcast channel sequences are carry distribution of cyclic prefix time intervals, the system bandwidth and another system information. The invention describes relaying information for obtaining cell data, as well as obtaining multiple-cell data when a wireless communication system is operating in frequency reuse mode.
EFFECT: shorter time for searching for cell data.
