FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for use as an internal separation device of water level measurement as the necessary technological process is achieved to separate a gas and liquid flow into components. The separator comprises a body with nozzles of gas and liquid mixture inlet, liquid outlet, dried gas outlet, a pack of reflecting elements in the form of reverse funnels, a pack of vertical louvers, a perforated shell. The separator is equipped with water level sensors in at least four jackets equidistantly installed relative to the inner surface of the separator body arranged along the whole length of the jackets body with a gap at the height of the permissible variance of water level in process of separator operation. Each water level sensor is made so that its sensitive element, using capacitance-conductometre dependence on water exposure is divided into two parts as such parts are installed in two equidistantly arranged jackets with the possibility of passage and replacement via the side wall of the separator body.
EFFECT: invention provides for reliable measurement of the water level in the separator, reduced secondary carryover of drops by gas flow in variable load mode.
