FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: method of vegetative reproduction of Feijoa selloviana Berg by grafting with green grafts makes it possible to reproduce, produce, preserve and make genetically homogeneous high-quality plants. The method includes reproduction, growing seedling rootstocks with a closed root system and preparation of grafts. Each graft consists of two units that include two non-burst buds with two upper leaves. Further grafts are soaked in a water solution of stimulants that contain the following per one litre: 15 mg indolyl-3-butyric acid, 150 mg of thiamine chloride, 150 mg of ascorbic acid, 1 mg of kinetin, 2 mg of gibberellin A3. After four-hour soaking of grafts a slant cut is made on their lower part with a tab, the same cut with a tab is made on the stock. Grafts and stocks are connected so that cut tabs enter one into the other and so that their cambial tissues match each other. Grafts are tied with polyvinyl chloride film. Ties are released and removed as the graft and the stock knit with each other.

EFFECT: this method of feijoa reproduction provides for 65% yield of vegetatively produced plants.
