FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agricultural machine building and may be used in cutting tools of agricultural harvesters. The cutting tool comprises an upper and a lower elements connected to each other to form two cutting fingers. A gap is provided to guide a cutting knife between the upper and lower elements. The upper and lower elements accordingly form upper and lower shearing edges for a cutting knife. Two cutting fingers are connected to each other by means of the rear and front connecting links on the upper element and by means of the rear and front connecting links on the lower element. Front connecting links of the upper and lower elements are a part of a gap for the cutting knife blade.
EFFECT: cutting tool has high resistance to occurring cross forces.
