FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: non-freezing lock has the shape of bowl. Lower surface of lock has protective shoulder protruding along the perimetre and intended to prevent capillary water penetration into latch and key plate of the lock. Invention also refers to non-freezing lock containing the housing with plugged hole in which the liquid freezing at temperature of 0.1-5 degrees Celsius is contained directly or in a capsule.
EFFECT: prevention of freezing or removal of moisture that penetrates inside the lock.
