FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: local clock signal (CLK) and a frame (Frame) are formed on the side of a first assembly (REC). The clock signal (CLK) and the frame (Frame) are transmitted, using synchronous transmission with a predictable propagation time, to a second assembly (RE). A reference clock signal (GPS) is received at the side of the second assembly (RE), and phase difference (PDIF) and time difference (TDIF) between the transmitted clock signal (CLK) on the one hand and the reference clock signal (GPS) on the other hand are determined. The phase difference (PDIF) and the time difference (TDIF) are transmitted from the second assembly (RE) to the first assembly (REC) via a link without predictable propagation time. The phase difference (PDIF) and the time difference (TDIF) are used at the side of the first assembly (REC) to determine a control action (SG) which controls formation of the local clock signal (CLK), such that the first and the second assemblies (REC, RE) are synchronised in time.
EFFECT: high synchronisation accuracy.
