FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to agriculture. The proposed method of regulating the temperature regime of a beehive is that bees in a hive are periodically affected with nonhomogeneous electric field with a gradient of field strength 10-20 V/cm2. Frequency of exposure is adjusted depending on the temperature generated by the bees. The proposed device for regulating the temperature regime of a beehive contains potential and ground segmented electrodes, each segment of which is earthed via a separate switch, a generator of potential impulses, a control unit, a temperature sensor. The control unit consists of an amplifier, a detector, a comparator, and a registrar. Output of the registrar is connected to the input of the comparator. The output of the control unit is connected to the control input of an impulse generator. As the potential electrode a wire of beeswax foundation holder is used, located in rows in the plane of a comb frame. The comb frame is installed in the center of the hive. Grounded segmented electrodes are placed in opposite sides of the hive in parallel to potential one.

EFFECT: group of inventions provides high performance of processing of bee family and enables to keep the temperature at an optimal level.
