FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the industry of construction materials and can be used in making sulphur-based articles, e.g. foundations, floors, troughs, paving and lining slabs, road fences, border stones, as well as for joint grouting linings when protecting building structures from corrosion and carrying out maintenance and repair work in industrial and civil construction. The crude mixture for making construction articles and structures contains the following in wt %: sulphur 66.54-67.00, rubber 0.66-0.67, kerosene 1.98-2.01, aerosil 0.67-1.32, talc, which is thermally treated at temperature 800-850°C, - the rest.
EFFECT: high strength and low water absorption.
