FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: method includes generation of a stabilised sighting line and its matching with a target, launching a guided missile and its capture by a homing system, measurement of missile deviations from a sighting line, generation and sending control commands to the missile. In case several targets are available, matching of the stabilised sighting line is carried out in sequence with every one of them. Their distances and angular coordinates are detected and memorised. After launch of the guided missile in direction of the first (in distance) target and its capture, time of its motion is measured on the flight trajectory, information on missile hitting or missing the target is sent to the field of the backsight view. In case of missing the first target in distance (the nearest one) and meeting conditions specified in the invention formula, the sighting line is changed over to the second one in distance. In case of missing this one - to further targets with supply of information into the backsight's field of view about missing. Afterwards both in case of hitting and loss of capture, the sighting line is returned to the initial position.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of missile homing by its re-routing to a different target, increasing noise immunity of a visual channel, accurate homing and introduction of additional information on parameters of the homing process.
