SUBSTANCE: domestic appliance casing comprises the main body of the casing, a door and a hinged joint, which is arranged near the side surface of the main body of the casing and connects the main body of the casing to the door. The door comprises the first groove facing the main body of the casing, and the hinged joint comprises a cantilever that is stiffly connected to the main body and enters the groove to determine the hinged joint axis. On the cantilever there is a groove facing the side surface. The side wall of the first groove enters the groove in the open position. The cantilever is made of metal strips put on a rib that surround the groove.

EFFECT: using this invention makes it possible to develop a domestic appliance, where a hinged joint is hidden, if the appliance door is closed, and sufficient freedom of door motion may be implemented by simple means.
