SUBSTANCE: image processing device, having an image display element; an instruction position detecting apparatus configured to receive an instruction operation from a user through an operations screen, and detecting and outputting the instruction position for an instruction operation relative the operations screen; storage apparatus; and display control apparatus in which, when the user makes continuous movements on the operations screen, the display control apparatus controls scrolling of the displayed image with its zooming out, together with images lying before and after the displayed image in accordance with the direction of the operation defined based on the detection output from the instruction position detecting apparatus, where the displayed image is zoomed out to a given degree in accordance with duration of the operation of maintaining the contact position relative the operations screen, performed by the user.
EFFECT: improved search for the desired image by enabling display of an image in accordance with image data recorded on a recording medium in an efficient mode.
