FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of construction materials and specifically to compositions of polymer-silicate mixtures for making translucent structures and elements, for example underpasses, warehouses, public buildings working in chemically aggressive media, as well as translucent components of processing equipment, tank equipment - process baths, tanks, acid storages and settling tanks, and can be used in construction, chemical, metallurgical, petrochemical and energy industry. The water-glass composition contains the following in wt %: liquid sodium glass 14.5-15.5; sodium silicofluoride 2.0-2.2; furfuryl alcohol 0.4-0.5; filler from ground scrap glass 17.5-18.5; polypropylene fibre 0.2-0.4; nanostructure carbon complex 0.01-0.03; crushed sand from scrap glass 63.87-66.39.
EFFECT: high tensile strength in bending and translucence of the material.
