FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: method to form a moisture-provided design of a forest belt consisting of several internal rows of tree species and extreme near-skirt rows of bushes includes cutting of bushes at a certain height from the soil surface. Bushes in forest belts of any design are cut for height of Hb, calculated according to the following formula: Hb = q(QT + QE + QG - OR), where QT - moisture consumption for transpiration of plants during the vegetation period, mm; QE - annual moisture consumption for physical evaporation, mm; QG - annual gravitational drain outside the limits of a root area, mm; QR - arrival of liquid moisture from rain and other sources (fog, condensate), mm; Hb - height of a bush, mm; q - coefficient of solid residue conversion into liquid one.
EFFECT: method provides for formation of a forest belt capable of accumulation of such amount of snow inside itself in winter time, which together with rain precipitation and other sources of moisture provides for its normal growth and development, and also creates comfortable ecological conditions in the territory outside it.
