FIELD: tobacco industry.
SUBSTANCE: method for production of non-smoking products of rustic tobacco envisages preparation of recipe components; extraction of lemon balm with liquid carbon dioxide with corresponding miscella separation. Rustic tobacco and soapwort roots are cut, dried in microwave field till residual moisture content is about 20% for no less than 1 hour. Microwave field power ensures warming the raw material inside the bits to a temperature of 80-90°C. Rustic tobacco and soapwort roots are mixed, impregnated with separated miscella with extract content equal to 0.03% of the mixture weight with simultaneous pressure boost. Pressure is reduced down to atmospheric one with simultaneous freezing of the mixer. Then one performs subliming and removal of carbon dioxide with simultaneous swelling of the mixture. One adds to the mixture plum juice concentrate, sugar syrup, calcium and/or magnesium citrate and water and moulds the produced mixture.
EFFECT: method allows to produce a non-smoking nicotine-containing rustic tobacco product with improved organoleptic properties and extended storage life combined with decreasing losses of flavouring substances and initial raw material nicotine.
