FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and may be used for production of screw spirals. Proposed method comprises securing material on core, revolving said core, winding screw spiral thereon and removing produced spiral therefrom with the help of stop. First, continuous core is manually passed through reel. When first extreme turn on spiral free end approaches the stop, core with wound spiral is stopped. At least, one extreme turn is removed manually from the core. Stop is brought in contact with extreme turn so that it inhibits shift of said turn with core. Then, turns are continuously removed from core in resuming its rotary translation. Proposed device comprises core unwinder, reel with wound material, core drive, reel and stop. Reel allows limiting slippage spiral on core while stop serves to limit shift of extreme turn and rotation of removed turn.
EFFECT: higher accuracy and reliability.
