FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention discloses two versions of a method of dyeing synthetic fibre by forming a polymer from sulphuric acid solution, containing a dispersed dye in amount of 0.5-5 wt % of the polymer, dissolved in concentrated sulphuric acid and retained in the polymer. In version 1, the synthetic fibre used is a product of copolycondensation of terephthalic and para-toluic acid and hydrazine sulphate. In version 2, the synthetic fibre used is a product of (co)polycondensation of terephthalic, isophthalic, para-toluic, meta-toluic acid and hydrazine sulphate.
EFFECT: simplification of technology owing to production and dyeing of fibre in a single step while simultaneously increasing colour fastness to light to 7 points and to dry and wet friction to 5 points by fixing the dye into the structure of the fibre, and also endowing the fibre with surface roughness.
