FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: microcontroller-based resistance-to-binary code measuring transducer consists of a microcontroller 1, a current source 2, a reference resistor (Ro) 3, a measured resistor (Rx) 4, an integrating RC circuit 5 and a binary code transmission output 6. The first leads of resistors 3 and 4 are connected to the non-inverting input of the microcontroller comparator. The second leads of resistors 3 and 4 are connected to the first and second microcontroller outputs, respectively. The signal from the microcontroller pulse-width modulator is transmitted to the integrating RC circuit, the output of which is connected to the second input of the analogue comparator of the microcontroller 1. The data transmission output 6 of the microcontroller is connected to an external microcontroller device for displaying the measurement result and control.
EFFECT: high accuracy of measuring resistance.
