FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: single-processor version comprises a processor, rapid memory and slow memory. In order to accelerate computations, several operations can be executed with special accelerating apparatus. Rapid memory can be mounted on the same chip as the processor. The multiple-processor version comprises several processors, each connected to rapid memory (possibly on the same chip as the processor) and slow memory which is common for all processors. The single-processor computer system can be designed based on an Intel processor, where the rapid memory conforms with the cache memory of the processor, where during computation, data is exchanged between the cache memory of the processor and the slow memory. The multiple-processor computer system can be designed based on a multicore Intel processor, where each processor conforms with the core and the rapid memory conforms with the cache memory of the core, where during computation, data is exchanged between the cache memory of the processor and the slow memory.
EFFECT: possibility of detecting weak satellite navigation signals and increasing sensitivity of search by using combined coherent-non-coherent accumulation a received signal for a sufficiently long period of time, using a single- or multiple-processor computer system to design a receiver.
