FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture and can be used in horticulture for growing seedlings of fruit crops, mainly apple trees on clonal rootstocks. Rootstocks are planted in the field of buds, where on the bases of clonal rootstocks containers are put that are filled with a substrate for rooting. Then rootstocks are bud-grafted. At the end of the vegetation period rootstocks are cut together with containers and placed in storage until the next growing season. In the spring bud-grafted rootstocks are planted in containers of larger volume in a greenhouse. The remaining part of rootstocks after cutting are used to produce new sprouts, breeding cycle is repeated.
EFFECT: provision of multiple use of clonal rootstocks in a field of buds and reduction of nursery fields.
