FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rotor assembly for centrifugal separator. Proposed assembly is fitted on central shaft and comprises inlet to feed mix of component to be separated to rotor assembly, and, at least, one outlet to discharge separated product. Proposed rotor assembly includes separation chamber arranged there inside and communicated with at least one branch pipe, inlet chamber communicated with inlet and separation chamber and arranged radially there inside, and multiple separation discs. The latter are made from metal and located spaced apart in separation chamber and aligned with rotational axis. At least some of said multiple separation discs are rigidly jointed together to form composite body.
EFFECT: dynamically stable centrifugal separator, higher efficiency of separation.
