FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to food industry. Device comprises case with loading, discharging and aspirating branch pipes arranged concentrically inside said case, vaned rotor fitted on vertical shaft, deck arranged for axial rotation, power supply and rotor drive. Said case is provided with extra deck accommodating vaned rotor and axially moving deck connected via reversing adjustable-speed unit with power supply. Cylindrical deck is furnished with top and bottom covers. Top cover is provided with central bore with diameter exceeding that of loading branch pipe. Deck cylinder is furnished with openings arranged at top and bottom sides of deck lateral surface. The lowest point of top openings is located not lower than vaned rotor top plane. The highest point of bottom openings is located not higher than vaned rotor bottom surface.
EFFECT: higher quality of shelling.
