SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and serves to absorb and dissipate energy of impacts in couplers of vehicles. Proposed absorber comprise cylinder made up of two separated chambers filled with elasto-plastic fluid. One chamber has cylinder bottom and rod with piston. Second chamber has cylinder bottom and rod with piston. Said rod is provided with central chambers. Elastic elements are arranged on outer side of every chamber, aligned with cylinder. Elastic elements are made from elasto-plastic material. Piston is provided with check valve and calibrated clearance to allow overflow of working fluid.

EFFECT: higher dissipative properties.
