FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to apparatus for producing ozone and can be used in industrial and agricultural companies to treat air and aqueous media. The apparatus for producing ozone has an ozone generator 1, a frequency changer 5 with two power transistors 6, a control unit 7 with a drive oscillator 8 and a pulse former 9, an adder 10, a step-up transformer 11 with primary 12 and secondary 13 windings, a voltage divider 14 and a variable capacitor 15. The ozone generator is in form of series-connected two or more flat windings with thickness 0.01-1.0 mm, separated by dielectric plates and slit-type discharge gaps. The flat windings are connected to the secondary winding 13 of the step-up transformer 11 and the voltage divider 14 through the variable capacitor 15. The voltage divider 14 is connected through the adder 10 to the input of the drive oscillator 8, the output of which is connected to the input of the pulse former 9. Outputs of the pulse former 9 are connected to the bases of the power transistors 6, which are connected in series to the primary 12 winding of the step-up transformer 11.

EFFECT: device increases efficiency and reduces power consumption when producing ozone.
