FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: observatory includes a self-contained container of seismic receivers, an instrument container and a surface radio buoy. The self-contained and instrument containers are connected by a conducting rope. The radio buoy is connected to the self-contained container. The bottom observatory includes the following devices: a seismic detector with sampling rate of 0.03-40 Hz, an acousto-optical spectrometer in the visible range (415-800 nm), a device for measuring speed and direction of flow, a device for measuring water temperature, a pressure measuring device, a device for measuring electroconductivity of water, a constant magnetic field magnetic metre, a gamma-ray spectrometer, a detector for measuring speed of sound in water, a pH detector, a hydroacoustic module for communication with the support ship and for positioning at the bottom, a device for gathering and processing information, which includes a control computer and a recording and control unit; a methane detector, a Boolean processing unit, a hydrochemical measurement unit, a detector for determining spatial orientation and coordinates, and a gravity gradiometer.
EFFECT: broader operational capabilities of the device and high reliability of analysis results.
