FIELD: tobacco industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to tobacco industry and is intended for evaluation of sensory indicators as integrated with safety indicators of smoke of tobacco smoking products manufactured using flavour additives. The method involves sampling, conditioning, determination of safety indicators, sensory evaluation performance. Codes are assigned to all sensory evaluation attributes. Sensory evaluation is performed by additional indictors of the smoke aroma and taste properties. Simultaneously, safety indicators are determined Then one ranges safety and sensory property indicators by the degree of significance for the consumer. Then one calculates significance coefficients per indicator. Then one determines the value of the ratio of each indicator of the sample being analysed to the corresponding indicator of the reference sample. Then one calculates the generalised criterion of quality of the sample being analysed with account for the degree of significance of sensory evaluation and safety indicators. Then one compares the value of the generalised criterion of quality of the sample being analysed against the reference sample quality criterion value equal to 1 and evaluates conformity of the quality of the sample being analysed to the reference sample quality.

EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of sensory evaluation.
