FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming and may be used for bending rods in one, two and more planes, to vary bending direction at rod center in, for example, producing automotive stabiliser bar. Press for bending rod center has bending cylinder, extra power cylinder to displace male and female dies simultaneously from their initial position into working position and extreme position of bending beginning. Quick-detachable male and female dies have first two initial positions wherein rods of both cylinder are pulled out and female die is located closer to them and other two positions wherein said rods are pulled in and female die is located on opposite side.
