FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to percussion tools. Perforator comprises adapter, first and second parts of drive mechanisms, first and second coupling mechanisms and drive mode selector. The latter allows selecting percussion mode, drilling mode and percussion-drilling mode. Said drive mode selector comprises operating part to be turned by user of its shaft, first and second switches. First switch is actuated by turning aforesaid operating part to throw in first coupling mechanism. Second switch is actuated by turning aforesaid operating part to throw in second coupling mechanism. Operating part may turn into, at least, three positions along circumference through 360° in both directions.
