FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to ferrous metallurgy, and namely to compositions of cast iron that can be used for manufacture of parts of heat units, furnaces. Cast iron contains the following, wt %: carbon 3.0-3.6; silicone 3.0-3.6; manganese 0.4-0.6; molybdenum 0.2-0.6; magnesium 0.0008-0.0012; copper 0.1-0.2; cerium 0.02-0.03; vanadium 0.2-0.4; cobalt 0.4-0.6; tantalum 0.2-0.3; and iron is the rest.
EFFECT: increasing cast iron thermal resistance.
