SUBSTANCE: tank-type electric apparatus with gas insulation consisting of at least one tank with at least one lead-in, high-voltage current-conducting system located inside the tank and insulated from its walls by gas medium, and tank heater. The apparatus is additionally provided with at least one wind screen enclosing side surfaces of the tank and attached to it by means of holders, and additional supplemental wind screens. Herewith, between the wind screen and the tank there are through gaps at the top and at the bottom.

EFFECT: lowering power of heaters of tank-type electric apparatus with gas insulation and higher reliability of power systems operation at low temperatures and strong wind impact by means of heat transfer of cold surfaces of electric apparatus.
