SUBSTANCE: ramp-type analogue-to-digital converter (ADC) consists of a multi-zone scanning converter (MSC), having two adders, an integrator and relay elements, switch elements, a differentiator, a demodulator, a single-pulse generator, a delay element, an ALU, a memory register and input and output terminals.

EFFECT: high accuracy of the ADC by using an arithmetic logic unit in the closed bidirectional self-oscillating system of the MSC.
