SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy. Casting mould comprises bed with recess, container and feeder head. Recess volume in bed makes 0.5-1.5% of casting mould volume. Taper of feeder head inner cavity makes 5-10%. Taper of casting mould container inner cavity makes 1.5-2% at container height-to-cavity diameter ratio of Hk/Dk≤1 or 14.5…16% at Hk/Dk>1. Mean inner diameter of feeder head (Dfm) is defined from relation: Dfm=0.45…0.75-(4.1…6.0)-Dk·a/(1+4·a), where a is preset Hk/Dk. Feeder head inner cavity volume (Vn) is defined from expression: Vn≥0.24…1.89-Dfm 3.
EFFECT: dense defectless ingot axial zone.
