SUBSTANCE: in the context of an instant text messaging application, the dialogue is analysed and key words and/or phrases which are relevant to context and text are identified. The key words and phrases are then selected in a visually identifiable manner to select the individual involved in the dialogue. Once the individual is selected, the user interface identifies and presents different materials and functionalities which are relevant to context or text relating to the selected word or phrase. The individual can also manually select a word or phrase in order to access the user interface. At least some of these relevant materials or functionalities are presented to the user in the context of the instant text messaging application or in a form where they can be used by the individual within the instant text messaging application.

EFFECT: possibility of joint search by several users in a single search session.
