SUBSTANCE: system for optimising settling time of oil products in storage reservoirs depending on the temperature distribution of the oil product on the height of the reservoir has a module for identifying the base address of the section of the oil product, a module for identifying the base address of the page of the reservoir, a module for generating signals for reading parameters of an area of the reservoir, a module for recording parameters of the area of the reservoir, a module for generating signals for calling a subprogram for calculating the settling rate of particles of an oil product pollutant, a module for recording the settling rate of particles of the oil product pollutant, a module for selecting the average settling rate of particles of the oil product pollutant on the area of the reservoir, a module for comparing the average settling rate of particles of the oil product pollutant on the area of the reservoir with a standard settling rate, a module for identifying the base address of the height of the area of the reservoir, a module for generating signals for reading the average calculated-allowable settling time of the oil product on the area of the reservoir, a module for outputting the calculated-allowable settling time of the oil product.
EFFECT: faster operation of the system by excluding data search in the entire server database and localising search only in base addresses of databases.
