SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture. Composition for reducing the growth of crystals of hydrate clokhintocete-mexyle in case of contacting a composition comprising clokhintocete-methyl with water, contains: (a) from 85 to 93 wt % of the mixture (i) of at least one aromatic compound selected from the group of monoalkylbenzenes, dialkylbenzenes, trialkylbenzenes, unsubstituted or mono-or polyalkylsubstituted naphthalenes, and mixtures thereof, and (ii) of at least one compound of alkyllactate, where the ratio of (i) to (ii) in the calculation of wt % is from 35:65 to 65:35, and (b) from 7 to 15 wt % clokhintocete-mexyle. Clokhintocete-mexyle is dissolved in a mixture comprising components (i) and (ii).
