SUBSTANCE: invention relates to household appliances. The kitchen machine with a junction section for connection of the processing unit, a cover which is fixed to the body of the kitchen machine so that it, from the closed position in which it closes the junction section, has the ability to turn into an open position in which the junction section is available for connecting the processing unit. Also, the device includes a locking device designed to lock the cover in the closed position, with the releasing button, which by pressing has the ability to move from resting position into the position of disconnecting to release the lock, with the result that the cover has the ability to rotate to the open position. The releasing button is located on the cover, and the cover has a locking element, and the body has a lock pin made with an ability to interact with the locking element to lock the cover in the closed position. At that, the releasing button has an unlocking site which interacts with the locking element so that in the disconnecting position it disconnects the locking element and the lock pin.

EFFECT: invention enables to provide quick and convenient control of the device of releasing the cover.
