FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: telecommunication network architecture, which comprises: a base station (110), which is privately owned and which is adapted to provide a restricted access service to a limited number of communication devices (113a, 113b, 113c), which are assigned to a picocell (111) of the telecommunication network (100). The method is realised by using a wireless connection between a privately owned base station and a public network element, by using the base station as a device capable of efficiently retrieving the information load from a global cellular network described by the telecommunication network over a short wireless link for communication with a picocell. Corresponding data from the picocell can then be transmitted using a wire connection which, as a rule, is a more powerful transmission line than the wireless line.
EFFECT: improved load control inside a cellular telecommunication network.
