FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: according to the method, working medium is pumped through injection walls and fluid is extracted through production wells under non-steady-state conditions with the flow rate changing from maximum to minimum. Time intervals of non-steady-state conditions are determined as per variation of water flooding of the well product and change of bottomhole pressure. Variation of water flooding is determined with stationary instruments installed immediately in the well shaft. Duration of working period at maximum extraction of product is determined according to two parameters: up to limit boundary water flooding value or recovery of maximum bottomhole pressure, but not less than oil degassing pressure. Duration of working period at minimum product extraction is continued during the time period at which water flooding of the product is reduced and stationary value is recovered. When water flooding variation is either increased or is absent, the period is continued until bottomhole pressure is recovered at current minimum fluid flow rate.
EFFECT: reducing the volume of produced water and increasing oil extraction coefficient.
