FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: vortex flow generator may be used in air conditioners, heat pipes to improve pipe properties, and at transport facilities: cars, trains, aircraft, and ships to improve their aerodynamic characteristics. Nacelle-shaped generator with intake device comprises confuser, diffuser, vortex chamber with swirling and outlet devices. Note here that said swirling device is made up of guide vanes arranged downstream of diffuser at the beginning of vortex chamber separated from diffuser. Besides, end of guide vanes may be jointed with diffuser by lengthwise walls.
EFFECT: simple design, reliable operation.
