SUBSTANCE: fuel nozzle assembly 100 accommodates swirler assembly 150 attached to gas turbine engine combustion chamber 160 to mix fuel 170 and air 180 for delivery into combustion chamber comprises central case 120 and conical nozzle 130 extending from central case 120 and including multiple orifices 140. Note here that said multiple orifices extend through conical nozzle and are spaced apart so that partial flow of said mixed flow flows via multiple orifices into combustion chamber while remaining flow 195 of said mixed flow 195 bypasses said partial flow of mixed flow via multiple orifices to get from swirler assembly 150 into combustion chamber 160.

EFFECT: decreased emission of NO_x.
