SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of agriculture and may be used to prepare a composition containing tetramethyl thiuram disulfide for pre-sowing treatment of seeds of grains and other crops. The composition contains tetramethyl thiuram disulfide as a reactant in the amount of 35-38 wt %, cresacin as a synergist in the amount of 0.011-0.045 wt %, and auxiliary components. The auxiliary components are polyethylene glycol 600, propylene glycol, soprophor FL, phodasurf 860/R, rhodorsil 426 R, rhodopol 23, ruby varnish and water, in the following amounts, wt %, accordingly 7.0-7.5; 4.5-4.6; 2.6-2.7; 0.9-0.92; 0.32-0.4; 0.15-0.21; 0.9-0.92, water - balance.

EFFECT: using the invention increases biological activity and reduces norm of preparation consumption for treatment of seeds, increases its shelf life without change in consumer properties, improves convenience and hygienics when sowing treated seeds.
