FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: set of inventions relates to oil industry and may be used for intermittent cleaning of coalescing surface devices from adhesive colloidal particles. In thermal cleaning of coalescer working medium is fed into devoice case, medium power portion is directed for scanner driving and circular scanning of machined surface by formed jet. Steam is used as working medium. Steam pressure is partially directed to drive scanner while machined surface scanning is performed by steam jet circumscribing at variable-radius. Proposed device comprises scanner with drive made up of hydraulic cylinder with steam control valve. Hydraulic cylinder rod is engaged via ratchet gear with hollow shaft coupled with scanner. It incorporates also rotary tubular bend supports link furnished with ratchet gear. Jet forming device represents nozzle secured on link end.

EFFECT: thermal cleaning of coalescer.
