SUBSTANCE: invention relates to motor-driven mechanical saws and may be used in production of articles of preset shape. Fretsaw comprises blade and bearing plate jointed to fretsaw frame. Plate bottom makes bearing surface facing processed workpiece. Guide element made up of guide bush is fitted into bearing plate to extend beyond bearing plate bearing surface to abut the guiding outline of profiling pattern jointed with workpiece. Saw blade extends through guide bush while blade teeth are located, at least, at the centre of guide bush.

EFFECT: higher precision.
