FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to space vehicle (SV) orientation control and can be used during experiments and investigations on its board. The method includes gravitational SA orientation after which SV spin around SV axis registered with the Earth centre is performed. Spin is performed with angular velocity of ωx = (Iyz / 5·Ix )ω0 until required time moment, where Iyz is average value of close in value SV inertia moments around OY and OZ transversal axes; Ix is SV inertia moment around longitudinal axis; ω0 is absolute angular velocity of orbital coordinate system.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of uniaxial SV orientation and lowering g level acting on SV during its flight.
