ABOVE-GROUND WIND-DRIVEN GENERATOR SYSTEM USING FLYING BODY Russian patent published in 2012 - IPC F03D5/00

Abstract RU 2457358 C1

FIELD: power industry.

SUBSTANCE: above-ground wind-driven generator system is located in air space and connected by means of supporting ropes to rotating unit. System contains two flying bodies of longitudinal shape with control blades of direction, longitudinal channel in horizontal direction for wind passage, and wind-driven generator unit. Wind passage channel is formed between upper and lower connection elements which are related to flying bodies. Wind-driven generator unit includes several assemblies of turbine blades installed in wind passage channel and several electric generators.

EFFECT: invention allows increasing electric energy output at weak wind, and simplifying the installation and removal of the system.
