SUBSTANCE: operating mode is continuously monitored at least for those electrical consumers of refrigerating compressor unit which represent secondary percentage share in common load of refrigerating compressor unit. The whole negative reserve for load, which is available at the moment, is calculated, and at least one pre-specified turbine is tripped if the negative reserve for load, which is obtained by means of frequency adjustment of refrigerating compressor or refrigerating compressors, is less than the need for energy of the largest refrigerating compressors, and either refrigerating compressor fails, or frequency change rate (df/dt) in the electric network of gas liquefaction plant exceeds certain limit value.
EFFECT: use of invention will allow increasing the period of uninterrupted operation of gas liquefaction plant.
