SUBSTANCE: device to control content, comprising a module to control display for control of display on a screen of the first displayed object, areas, in which the first displayed object must be stored, and the second displayed object; a module to receive instructions to receive the first instruction to move the second displayed object on the screen; a module of detection to detect a position, into which the second displayed object is moved; and a control module to control process performance for an element of the content corresponding to the first displayed object, which is stored in the specified area, in accordance with the second displayed object, which moves to the specified area, for performance, when it is identified with the help of the detection module that a position, into which the second displayed object is moved, is not located in the specified area, to control formation of a new area in the position, in which the first displayed object must be stored, and to control displacement of the second displayed object into a new area.

EFFECT: invention provides for simplification of user operation by sorting elements of content and formation of a new target area of sorting using only one operation of items dragging.
