FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment intended for eliminating shape defects by straightening. Every distorted section of channels is subjected to intensive straightening of cross-section in opposite pair of shaped rolls mounted at straightener inlet equipped with high-power hydraulic pressure mechanism. This allows to push channels with straightened cross-section shape between two lines of shaped straightening rolls arranged staggered to correct lengthwise curvature. After straightening cross-section shape and lengthwise shape, long channels are subjected to additional shape and cross-section size correction at opposite pair of shaped rolls mounted at straightener outlet.
EFFECT: higher quality of finished products.
