FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport and may be used in electrically driven air control valves incorporated with braking systems of, mainly, locomotive-hauled passenger trains. Proposed valve comprises electric assembly, release and braking electromagnetic valves, interconnected and connected with locomotive control unit, to distribute airflows. Air relay with safety device designed to release air from controlled-pressure chamber in atmosphere at excess pressure is arranged inside electric assembly control pressure chamber. Electric assembly is connected with air assembly while moving diaphragm is arranged there between. Aforesaid release and braking valves have axial bores. Said electric assembly control pressure chamber is communicated with atmosphere with open valve of braking electromagnetic valve and with braking system spare tank when release electromagnetic valve is open. Top chamber of air relay case is communicated with brake system braking cylinder. With open release valve it communicates with atmosphere and open feed valve it is communicated with bottom chamber communicated, in its turn, with brake system spare tank. Safety device is made up of hollow cylinder with spring-loaded valve pressed against cylinder end face at control pressure chamber pressure below tolerable value.
