FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: mechanical bench has the shape of a trough with a longitudinal magnetic strip on the outer surface of its side flap. A solid body with a positioned magnet and at least one element for connecting a measuring tool is meant for mounting on the bench. Magnetically controlled magnetic contacts are meant for mounting on the side flap of the trough. The housing of the magnetic contact consists of a support part and a bearing part. A magnet is mounted on the support part, where said magnet interacts with the longitudinal magnetic strip when mounting the sensor on the bench. The structure of the support part is such that it facilitates stable positioning of the sensor relative the mechanical bench during installation thereof on the longitudinal magnetic strip. The bearing part of the housing of the sensor is in form of a capsule which houses a hermetic contact in its inner axial cavity.

EFFECT: easier use of the set and high quality of experiments, while obtaining results of the highest accuracy.
