SUBSTANCE: television receiver 250 finds another DLNA-compliant device connected to a network (S3). The television receiver 250 then determines an IP address of an eHDMI connection (S4), and, in a case of a device connected directly thereto via an HDMI, automatically sets a DLNA connection to the device (S5-S8). The television receiver 250 may present each of the connection setting states to the user by use of a user interface window so as to enable a user's confirmation. When setting the configuration of an AV (audio visual system), the user can set up a direction connection using HDMI to improve usability of the AV system 200 without the need to perform DLNA connection setting.

EFFECT: improved usability of a DLNA-compliant device.
